World Paper Free Day

22
October 2020

Let’s learn how to use paper rationally! is the motto of the international paper free campaign that takes place every fourth Thursday of October worldwide. Leading companies across all sectors of economy unite to share their experience of cutting down wasteful use of paper and carry out their own support activities. World Paper Free Day is meant to show what technologies are used to contribute to saving natural resources. According to the Association for Information and Image Management (AIIM), recycling one tonne of paper saves around 17 trees, 26,000 litres of water, 3 cubic metres of land, 240 litres of fuel and 4,000 kW/h of electricity.
