Konstantin Tsiolkovsky (17.09.1857 – 19.09.1935) was a Russian scholar, educator, inventor, writer who founded theoretical astronautics and the philosophy of Russian cosmism. His main studies and writings related to aeronautics, rocket dynamics and astronautics He promoted the ideas of space exploration and believed that life on one of the planets of the Universe could reach the point of such power and perfection that it would be able to overcome gravitation and spread life across the Universe.
